Sir Dave Richards...You are a very NAUGHTY BOY!

Nepotism it seems did not just lay with the current FIFA President's nephew, Philipe Blatter when it came to commercial contracts.

The marketing firm Glue Creative Production Solutions owned by the son of  the Premier League and the European Professional Football Leagues current Chairman  Sir Dave Richards, has been revealed by the 'Yorkshire Post' to have secured work with the organisation to "provide merchandise" to promote England's 2018 FIFA World Cup bid. It has also been revealed that Sir Dave Richards was still a director of GLUE, until the 31st December, 2010.

Suggestions of a possible conflict of interest are being taken so seriously that the issue could be raised at next week's Parliamentary Inquiry into football.

Tory MP Damian Collins (above), who is a Culture, Media and Sports select committee member and who is currently along with other members of Parliament running an Inquiry into 'Football Governance' said he would raise the issue with his fello MPs. He told the Yorkshire Post: "If football organisations he [Richards] is a part of were doing business with a company he had interests in, that does raise serious questions". The MP also went on to say, "It is about the general issue of transparecy in football. If Dave Richards had commercial interests that does raise questions  about how transparent those interests were".

Fellow committee member MP  for Suffolk, Therese Coffey (Pictured above), added " If there are vested interests at play we need to help bring some sunshine into that and that is part of the role of the Inquiry".

According to GLUE's website both the Premier League and Football League are clients. The company also openly promotes it's business with the football world though there is no mention of Sir Dave Richards.

GLUE was also asked to "create a new trophy for the national league of Thailand and intriguingly enough, the Head of the Thai FA Worawi Makudi (Pictured below), is a FIFA Executive Committee member whose "vote England constantly coveted" during their 2018 World Cup bid campaign.

These allegations have brought to the surface of Sir Dave Richard's, who was the deputy chairman of England's 2018 FIFA World Cup bid, his own accusations against FIFA vice-president, Jack Warner asking him[Richards] to provide money towards the construction of an education centre in exchange for a vote.

It is time for Sir Dave Richards to step down from all chairmanship football roles-One thing can be said and true to form..."Blood is Thicker Than Water".
